RCA launches the G2 Smartphone

RCA, the iconic brand and long-time symbol of American ingenuity, announced today the launch of the RCA G2 Smartphone, the latest addition to the brand’s impressive lineup of consumer electronics, home appliances, and security systems. The G2 Smartphone is currently available on Amazon.com, with prices beginning at $99.99.
The launch of the G2 Smartphone is part of RCA’s ongoing centennial celebrations for 2019, a year-long campaign celebrating “100 Years of Magic” that kicked off in January at CES. Through various activities such as launching anniversary-themed products and packaging, partnering with RCA Records’ Pentatonix (PTX), and promoting a year-long giveaway sweepstakes, the brand has showcased its reputable history and groundbreaking innovations as a trailblazer in the industry.
The unlocked, dual SIM 4G LTE G2 Smartphone features a 5.5” multi-touch HD screen and is powered by a 2,500 mAh Battery, allowing users to browse the web, stream music, watch videos, and play games at blazing speed. The smartphone’s built-in Android Pie 9.0 provides users with easier access to their favorite content by offering a simpler, more personal, and helpful operating system.
The G2 also provides plenty of storage, with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage space, which can be extended up to 128GB with a memory card. It is compatible with several mobile providers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Straight Talk, Cricket, Consumer Cellular, MetroPCS, Net10, and Pure Talk. With no contract required, an international version of the G2 is also available in 190 countries and regions including Canada, Mexico, Jamaica, Venezuela, Argentina, and more. With face detection and HD 1080p recording, the G2 is equipped with two HD cameras; an 8mp rear-facing camera and a 5mp front-facing camera. The phone comes with several standard accessories including a protective case, charge cord, headphones, a USB cable, and an attached screen protector.
